I have definate boundry issues…I just wish some others had the same ones!!! I dont get the need to be completely intertwined with a person u r not in a serious relationship with. I have never felt the need to tell ANYONE everything about me ( until my current Chris), and still I have only told him things baby steps and after much internal struggle and debate. Not that i didnt feel he deserved to know, but i just couldnt bring myself to sit down and tell him everything. but bit by bit i have given him all the pertanent info. so again, i say…I dont get those who choose to spill everything they think, feel, hear, or do with others. People who choose to be passive aggressive with an undercurrent of kindness especially get a wide berth. I am told i just have trust issues and that no one can be an island…Well, call me hawaii (that at least is a chain of islands…more room for all my baggage!)!

chris was on the warpath last night! he apparantly had a bad day at work and he brought it home! i made him a jack and coke and then left him home alone while ami and I went to dance class. I REALLY hope today has gone better for him, I dont have anywhere to go tonight!*wink*

Ami has a dance recital a week from saturday. that means pictures,classes, the dress rehersal, and then the recital itself! must buy extra tickets ,makeup, flowers and get her costume situated. it should be barrels of fun. At least the ex mother-in-law wont be making it this year…that is a small favor! her father wil be taking her for a week after the recital. I’m not sure what that week will be like for both of us. if it goes well for the two of them…he may take her for a few weeks this summer. I have never been away for her for more than a week…it would be so weird. we will see what happens.

I got a 2nd gnome for my front porch! I named him pete. he goes so nicely with gus (the 1st gnome received). He is also holding a pot of tulips (my favorite flowers). I even found a gnome online that is with a turtle. and a door for their house. I want to put up the door and make an entire gnome community. they are so cute! there is even a website called freethegnomes.com where they are trying to get everyone to release their captive gnomes. it is sooo very funny. There is also a website called adoptagnome.com they have a website for everything! pete and gus want to say “Hi!” and they look forward to greeting all the people who come to my door.

I am the mom of an almost 5th grader! 7 more dys and then she will be in 5th grade! one grade a3ay from juinior high…doesnt seem possible.

I finally got this book today. I had been listening to this soundtrack for a few months, and I as I found out more and more about it, I decided I wanted to read the book. I made a comment in passing and I forgot it for the moment. Well, as a mother’s day gift I received the book. I am so excited to start reading it! It is a hardcover edition as well so I can keep it for a long time.

The book is written by Nikki Sixx ,the bassist from Motley Crue,and it is detailing his descent into drugs, alcohol, excess, and addiction. He overdosed at least three times and continued to do drugs. It seems to be a really good story, and the music he wrote to go with it is a beautiful and haunting accompanyment. the lyrics are very moving and tell the story beautifully. More to come after I have read the novel.

I cant go to www.tattoojohnny.com , and I want to! damn parental controls! Time for honey to make it so only Ami’s computer has these blocks on it. How am I gonna figure out what my new tattoo is gonna look like if can’t go to tattoojohnny’s? I think he gets a kick outta me being frustrated?

It is this sunday. I plan on being lazy! I will not be cooking, do dishes, laundry or getting up early. the one day a year that I get to be totally and completely selfish. I am looking forward to it. I think I should get a garden gnome for a gift…they are so cute! I have my eye on one that is holding a pot of tulips in its right hand. Iwant! Iwant! Iwant! *jumping up and down* too bad Ami doesn’t read this page, then she could know what I want ( anything she gives me wil be cute)! I am looking forward to Sunday and getting to spend time with my kiddo. I bet Chris has to work, but the good news is he shouldnt have to work as late as usual.

My SO doesnt think so, but it is happening! He can either get with the program or just get over it! I want a ragdoll cat! a male, somewhere over a 9mos. old and under 2years already fixed and declawed would be a bonus!

Chris always says it’s better to ask forgiveness than permission! So, I think I shall take him up on that. I like Zena, but she is too aloof and doesnt like when I move! She will get on my lap and then when I pet her and try to snuggle her she bolts. So I am getting a new cat! One that can kick her butt round the house. Oops….I moved my leg and there went the cat!

three more weeks of school…not even. can’t believe the year is almost over. Ami finally go her room cleaned (with lots of outside help from me), and I did it so her uniforms (private school) would be easy to find in the am in her closet. then someonemmade the comment bout there being only 3 weeks left. unbelievable!!!

no more 7am wake up calls. Can I tell a prospective employer not before 10am? probably not a good idea!?!

I made really yummy rice pudding tonight…never tried it before today. It is really good!

I cleaned out Ami’s closet this morning and boy am I proud of myself!!! Her closet was a huge mess, and I was tired of letting her just add to it instead of making it better. So I went in there to just get all the empty hangers out and the stuff that was too small and I ended up reorganizing and getting rid of a bunch of stuff. it looks so clean and I am going to make sure she keeps it up!

Ami came home from her sleepover this morning just long enough to drop her stuff off and then go back out and play with her friends. we let her have a couple of girls over for lunch today. I think she has had a really good weekend! we bought pizza,capri sun, and rainbow sherbet for them.

She has to finish going through her crap and we are gonna clean up her room and get rid of 1/2 her shit. it will be so nice to have our “spring cleaning” done. it started with tidy town and it has snowballed from there.

my cousin got married and we went to her reception on Friday night. She looked so happy! When we left, Ami wanted to say goodbye to Josh (our new cousin) he hugged her and picked her up to his level. She really liked that! I am glad she likes him. Good luck Natalie and Josh Coleman!

Today I started cleaning my garage…tidy town! Then I dragged the man in my life to help me out (plus he wont let me move the big stuff on my own). What started as a desire to get rid of an old couch and busted chair, turned into an hour long dash to try and beat the trash truck to my yard! we woke up late and (that was so nice…to be able to sleep in) and when I let the dog out I heard the truck in the neighborhood. So i panicked! we were supposed to put this shit out on the curb yesterday…but we got busy and forgot. So i went to unearth the couch in the garage and moving shit made me think i could toss this, and this and maybe that over there…etc.

We ended up getting rid of about 1/4 of the stuff in the place! And I have 3 bags of stuff to donate plus a sports bag full of balls from my coaching days. it will be so nice to get all that space in the garage, I can almost get a car in there!!! When the truck got to us, they came up to the garage and told us that the truck was full and they would have to unload it and then come back. It gave us another 20minutes to go through more stuff and I had Ami and Chris taking stuff to the curb. it felt good to purge the crap. I even got rid of my wedding dress. Ami didnt want it and I was happy to be rid of it! We should have Tidy Town every month! I could rid myself of not only my crap but everyone’s stuff would be fair game! Hee Hee! after chris went to work I did more in the garage and let me tell u…I seem determined to hurt myself! both this morning and this evening I worked till I was in major pain!

Ami had her 1st real sleepover tonight…at least the 1st with a non relative. she was so excited! I was nervous for her, but I had to cut that cord…we’ll see if she makes it through the night?!? when she stays with Lona she doesnt always make it thru…unless Reagan the bitchy is there with her. I am not fond of that girl!!! She is so annoying! I wouldnt care if Ami never saw her again. Oh well, u cant pick their friends. too bad on that one!
