Ami had her specialty fair at school today, chris and I went to see her display and look at all her projects put together. she did a very good job! she was so excited about it she was bouncing around between the two classes and jumping up and down in the middle of her class. I was looking at all of the other projects and I made the comment that I was surprised that none of the kids did sharks. Plus, as being something i really enjoying learning about, that is usually a topic that at least one kid gets interested in. Horses, bears, insects (head scratcher that one),symbols of freedom, robotic something, volcanic eruptions…etc. etc. etc.

We stopped into the other room just to see what they had going on. there was a child who did the great white shark! I was so excited that someone had done sharks that I ran over to that one. He had even had a recent shark attack to add to his project. It is really a shame that a man died, but the child had some really good articles regarding the recent event. all in all I think it was a sucessful outing. I was feeling sick today and Im running a fever, so we left after about 45minutes…not like Ami even noticed we were there.

If we had not been able to attend the function, she would have been devastated! We would have gotten the puppy dog eyes and she would have been all “It’s Ok…” but in reality she would have been all crushed and dissapointed. so i am glad we got to go! But that damn board game was a pain in my ass! Ours was a lot more involved than the others I saw. I am glad we almost killed each other to make it really cool!

I am still amazed at the ways it effects a person.

things change, but they remain remarkably the same!
