I cant believe the shit that passes for headlines! OMG!!!

Jennifer Aniston Presents Oscar Award in Front of Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt

Who gives a shit if Jennifer Aniston presented an Oscar in front of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt? and why is it an OMG moment? I think the paparazzi have way too much time on their hands. I see my husband all the time. He sees my new honey alot too. it isn’t newsworthy. So why is it for these three idiots? I like Angelina and Brad…I even like Jennifer, but I definitely think the public makes a much bigger deal about the situation than they do. At least I hope that’s the case, cause if it’s not…these peeps need to get a hobby!

Ami was showing me this puffle party on www.clubpenguin.com and she has got me hooked on this game in the dojo called card-jit-su. It is like crack. It’s kinda like rock paper scissors but with a funky twist. I keep saying I’m gonna play one more game and I can’t stop! It is sooo fun!!

I think I will kill you now!

You know who you are…you are toast! I don’t appreciate the fact that I have to share my crappy day memories with the picture of her! How dare you!

Whiny Ass Bitch

If you come to my house turn off your cell phone. Is that too much to ask? In our busy, overconnected, Facebook whoring lives why is it too much to ask a person to give me a few hours of your uninterrupted time? Why come and visit if you are gonna spend the entire time on your damn phone? Then throwing a fit when I tell you to get off the phone. I’m not one to care if you’re mad at me for that one! My house, my rules! Don’t like it, I don’t care! As long as Chris doesn’t mind it I’m ok. If Chris told me I had to apologize, then I might think about it…but I’m not wrong here so don’t hold your breath for that one!!!

Valentine’s day was super great! I got yellow roses, chocolate turtles, and bunches of other stuff! We had an amazing romantic dinner together and it was wonderful to have that time together. I have never been one to enjoy Valentine’s day until I met Chris. It is amazing how much more fun it is when you have someone to love.

The Great Netflix Debate!

So I got us started on Netflix (after us saying for like a year that we wanted to get started on it!), and we have this huge giant list. At first it was mostly stuff I wanted, but Chris has caught up pretty quickly. So when Chris put all his movies in he made them all priority one so all his stuff got moved to the top of the list, and all my stuff got pushed to the bottom. Well I wasn’t gonna have that, so I went into the list and arranged it to have the movies arrive in shipments of three (one for him, one for me, one for Ami…I thought that would be the fairest solution). Making everyone happy.

Well as he sees a new movie title to add to his list he has been adding them (not a problem, cause I do the same thing), but he has also been putting them at the top of the list! Which causes the neat tidy order that I put them into where we all get one to reshuffle…and only Chris’s recent selection and whatever is left in the next top positions comes to the house. Which means I have to go into every day or so and rearrange the order…AGAIN!!!…cause he has added another movie! Men and their movies!

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day and I am looking forward to spending the day with my loved ones and having a good time. I got some beautiful yellow roses and am planning a very special, romantic, home cooked, 5 star restaurant quality meal so it will be a busy and fun day. I hope everyone enjoys their day and has time with the ones they love!

Liz Logelin

I was watching the Rachel Ray show today and there was this guy on there…he was a single dad who had lost his wife 27 hours after the birth of their first child. A daughter named Madeline..Maddy. His name is Matt Logelin. The remarkable thing about this man and his family is he has chronicled first his wife’s pregnancy then his loss and how he coped and his daughter’s life on his blog…not unlike what do here. He is just a really talented writer who makes you feel what he is writing about and makes you feel like you a part of his family.

He has started a foundation to help other families who have lost a parent and from being a child who lost a parent ( I was nine but it was still hard) I think it is a great thing. The foundation started cause people gathered to raise money for him and his daughter and he decided to start the foundation and give it to three other families. He is a great inspiration and everyone who reads his story can’t help but take something positive away from it.

His webblog is at www.mattlogelin.com and the foundation is the Liz Logelin foundation. Hopefully chris will help me put a link on here soon if you want more information. Check it out…Maddy is super cute and I think it is so special she will have this to remember her mom and know what the start of her life was like for her dad. And how he got through life without Liz. Check it out!
