I found this artist who does these littlest pet customs. They are super cute. They are based on the Hot Topic line of cartoon animals. They are painted black and all you see are their skeletons with a red heart painted on their chest. And they seem to be smiling. They are funny and a bit morbid but you have to have a sense of humor, right? I want to have a turtle, spider, bat, and giraffe done…one for each of us. Of course two for me, ’cause I found them! I got Chris a bunch of the skelanimal buttons for his xmas stocking our 1st year together. So it’s fun that we can now get little figurines of them too.

I found out today that people can send poop to people on Facebook. As if I didn’t think that this site was worthless before, I really do now! Although it is very funny to those who find poop funny. You can even start a pillow fight with other Facebook people. For those people who lack the ability to interact with “real” people I guess this would be a fun game. I know not all peoples who use social networking sites are losers and rejects (who cannot function within the normal parameters of a friendship relationship ’cause they are scary and would rather talk to computer “friends” than to forge bonds in real life) but a strangely high number of members are. There are those who join to reconnect with family and high school or college friends maybe they lost touch with over the years…that I can understand. But when you see these people trying to “collect” as many names as possible on their buddy list just to show how popular they are they are the biggest losers of them all. I want to send them a big pile of poop! But them I would have to be a member…I’m not ready to join the land of the miserable and pathetic.

So I found this picture of Ami and I gotta say it was taken a long time ago. I had almost forgotten we had done these pictures. Every year the state fair of Texas would be held in Dallas around the cotton bowl area. My ex husband’s drum and bugle corps would play and we would get tickets through them. They would have this old style photo booth and we would sit Ami in there and then let her do whatever she wanted while it took it’s four or five pictures then we would get a strip of pictures a few minutes later. This was the result of one of those…I also have one other picture, but I haven’t found the other strip we have. She was about 26 or 27 months in this picture.

The pic of me was taken by a friend when I was a between sophomore and junior years. These were my favorite things…my green overalls( Chris’s favorite too!!!), grey sports bra, and dolphin charm necklace. Of course my class ring and my watch. Little did I know that Chris had made arrangement with her to get copies of those pics as well. Sweet and stalkerish all at once, what more can a girl ask for?!? I’m glad he had it, cause I don’t have them any more.

Chris looked at the picture of Ami today and said it looked just like the one of me…I told him he was smoking crack, so he told me he would prove it! What you see above is that proof. When he put the two together and showed it to me I was wow’d at how similar she looked to me. I had always believed she looked more like Christopher, but seeing those two photos made me rethink that. As she gets older I see more of me in her…she is the mostest beautiful girl in the world!!! But I don’t think that I’m pretty at all so I feel sorry for her in a way that she looks like me. But on her it works. I love how it looks with those two pictures together…we are even both wearing overalls!

Even with our similarities, I hope she unlike me in a few key areas. But I got lucky in the kiddo lottery, she has been a great kid so far and I hope the trend continues.

Today has been an interesting day…I feel like i have had three days worth of work in the span of a few hours! just not at my place of employment. it kinda sucks, but my kiddo needed me.

I was watching Burn Notice with Chris the other day and I saw an ad saying that there was only one or two episodes left before the season finale!!!…WTF?!? It just came back on January 22nd! I know this because we waited for like six months for that damn show to come back with new episodes! Why on earth would they give us just over a month of new episodes and then it goes back on hiatus?!? That is just a tease. they are cruel and sadistic assholes! This is like one of my favoritest shows. Every show Chris and I have chosen to have as “our” show has ended up being cancelled except for Chuck and Burn Notice. So I don’t want to wait for six months to get 7 episodes…that ends up being like 14 episodes a year. Not enough!!! It needs to not only be a summer show but a regular season show too! Just my opinion.
