Just watched the show “Life After People”-Las Vegas edition. It was basically what would happen to the cities of Vegas and Atlantic city if all humans went away suddenly. It was cool to see what the strip would turn in to ,if not for the intervention of people. Maybe I’ll go before it disintegrates into the sand…some days I don’t think I will, but I will!

I like to watch shows about Las Vegas, cause I want to go there so desperately bad! With my ex-husband whenever the opportunity to go to Vegas came up he was always selfish and would say “We can’t afford for BOTH of us to be off work. 2 plane tickets really aren’t in our budget. With Ami we would have to drive and that would mean taking two weeks off work to take a week in Vegas and that isn’t doable. (My favorite one was)The only way we can BOTH go to Vegas is if I pay for my part of the trip and you can pay for yours (he made 3x to 4x more than I did, cause I was only working part-time cause I had had a child. The care of said child was my responsibility…his social life didn’t change due to parenthood, but my ENTIRE life changed due to AMI)!” But he never missed a social trip to Vegas. I still haven’t been!!!
