Husband Dear!

If you were indeed “Thinking of me!”, (cuteness points, btw) why does the turtle look so sad? Thinking of me makes you sad? Or you just checking to see how long it will take me to notice and comment on the sad little turtle? I know how you can fix this!…I need a real turtle! We could keep it in our room or we find a stand and set it up in the dining room…*shakes head vigorously*! It would be perfect! His name would be Hippo (even if it was a girl we could still call her that)

Bottom line here, I Love You and Thank You for Thinking of Me!

Dear Wife..

Thinking of you… turtle

Stressed…

Lately all I hear is how evryne is how “Stressed!”they are. It makes me wonder, if this time of year is so stressful, where is the joy and love that is supposed to be filling our hearts and minds right about now? I certainly don’t see any joy in the faces of people in the line at the grocery store. Or loving expressions on the faces of people drivin by me after I have obeyed the speed limit for the last 6.5 miles(cause they were riding my ass and honking their horn and I felt it was a dangerous way to drive, so I slowed down just a bit….for their safety as well as my own.). Where’s the love, people?

There is a new musical out call “Wicked” and I want to see it so desperately bad. But not gonna happen *sad Orc*! I read the book last year and it is such a good story, and the fact that it came to KC is almost a miracle! Maybe some other time…or maybe I can see if they sell DVD’s of the performance. That would be cool!

The Chronicles of Punkynn

On Halloween we took The Kiddo trick-o-treating(she was a little black cat) after some time of going door to door(TO DOOR…ETC) we decided to call it a night. As we got home, the cul-de-sac was crawling with kids all dressed up in their costumes (and a few parents!)…even some teenagers wandering around raising hell!!!

Then we hear this weird noise. I thought maybe the teens were mocking the Kiddo’s costume(she was a cat, remember?) at 1st but the noise was loud and the peeps who were near us started looking around as well. Then I walked over to my neighbors driveway and so did another little boy… we looked under the car and lo and behold there was a tiny little kitten under there! Scared and shaking and making this awful loud noise. We tried to get him but he ran. So i told Kiddo to go get food and we followed Kitty so we didn’t loose him. Finally git the food and threw some down and kitty stopped running. He was interested, but he couldn’t seem to find it! wE HELPED HIM FIND THE FOOD AND kITTY WAS HAPPY!

Then we took him inside the garage and he snuggled up to Chris and started purring…Meanwhile I asked him if we should take him to his mother’s or if we were keeping him(I was NOT ok with leaving him out there as others were!)?!? By then I knew he was our, but Chris replied with a look and an “Oh Shit!” . He knew I was hooked and Kitty was named Punkynn( we did find him on Halloween after all). He is so tiny! The older kitties were NOT too happy…more to come!
