This is my fuck you note to Kansas! Too bad for me I found this little ditty on a t-shirt and not in my head! I’d make more money than I do now! The weather here will be the death of me. I mean single digits one day and sixties the next. maybe because winter started so early it is ending early too?!? *smiling hopefully* I am not really that much of an idiot, but hey a girl can dream can’t she?

Ami gets to go on a field trip tomorrow to earthworks…it is like exchange city but for science. they have ecological jobs and they get to “be” animals. Ami is going to be a blind cave scorpion. Some of her friends get to “eat”the other children who are unfortunate enough to be prey species…I wish I could go along. I would make an excellent predator of small furry mammels. Maybe in another life I can be a bird of prey or a shark or something.

We got this dvd cabinet for xmas and it needed to be put together…chris didn’t believe me when I said it would take all day ( I had previous experience with a 6 hour entertainment center) he was like “…No way this will take more than one two hours,tops!” Needless to say we should have put money on it…8and a half hours later we had a dvd cabinet. I only had like six screws and two nails left over…I think that is pretty good. Between the dowels, screws, anchors, and glue…those “extra” nails and screws won’t be missed. *crossing fingers* By the time I got to the drawers I ws ready to use the whole thing for kindling. But luckily Chris stepped in and was able to get those together no problem. Then the task of alphabetising and putting all our dvd’s in there…Thank god for slave labor (Ami)! Just kidding she wanted to help, but she got bored of helping quite quickly. So it was once again up to Chris ( I put it together…he could fill it up). It still won’t hold everything we own. Oh well, we now need a 2nd one. I guess that will be up to me to build again…As long as he has my supper waitin for when I’m done and he cleans the house we should be fine! LOL wouldn’t it be nice if it worked that way.

My next task is to teach chris how to cook…that should take the next 50- 60 years! I think that should keep me busy project wise. Cooking is not limited to frozen pizza and mac ‘n’ cheese either! I love ya baby!!!
