we finally got someone to haul away the old van today! bye bye! its so nice to have a nice clean driveway,free of shitty non running cars! of all the shitty cars to own, that van was actually a good purchase. it lasted three months and for what we paid it cost less than renting or having a new car payment. plus, it was better than the jeep i got last year and was only able to drive through the summer. i hope to never go through summer again with no a/c and windows that are unable to roll down! we will soon have the truck and can get it right up next to the house, and maybe soon after that…in the garage! wow what a trip that will be!!!

We got a new stove yesterday…it is so cool! it is backlight and a ceramic surface. it also self cleans and has dual cooking surfaces and a sensor to tell when it is still hot. it is the coolest stove ever…well, if it was gas then it would be perfect. but i love it none the less. when they called yesterday to deliver it, they gave us a time window and then it started pouring rain out. we thought they would postpone the delivery, but they showed up, soaking wet, and they almost couldnt get the stove into the garage because of the old van was parked too close to the door opening to fit the stove in. but they got it in and the old one hauled away to the junkyard. i even got to use the stove today!
