When Honey and I got together, one of our many decisions to be made(traditions to be melded) was whether or not we would have a real tree at Christmas time (my pick) or a fake one (his pick). Each of us trying to “bring the other around to our way of thinking” with no success, led to a new tradition… each of us getting our way! Yeah, we switch off every other year. That way we both get the kind of tree we want kind of like Christmas custody. “This is my year for the tree, you can have it next year! If you bitch and moan, I’m gonna take next year too!” Sound familiar?

The only problems with the arrangement are; whosever year it isn’t tends to get grumpy bout the other person’s tree …ie, Honey thinks the real tree is messy and a waste of money…but its less than $50. The fake tree looks all sparse and kinda leans…no matter which one you get, they all seem to lean! Plus they don’t have the nice pine smell! That smell always makes me think …XMAS!!!

No you can’t just put up a fake tree and spray the fake pine scent from a can around the house to get the same effect…MEN!!!
