we got a buttload of snow last night and my dad called this morning to tell me that the roads were too bad to take ami to school. I wasnt going to be able to get her there today seeing as to how the truck is out of comission as well. so Ami got her 1st snow day…unofficially of course because school was not cancelled. But seeing as to how I am her parent and ultimately it is my call anyway, I say school was cancelled! Plus it snowed all day long and if it was bad at 7am it would have only been worse by 315 pm. Ami had fun today.

Now it is snowing and icing, so tomorrow isn’t looking good either for school attendance…but we will see how I feel tomorrow! *winks* I could use a day to sleep in anyway.

I can’t wait for xmas break…I love my kiddo but I need a bit of a parenting vacation. after saying this…I will miss her after about three and a half hours of freedom. I seem to have a pattern. xmas is a week from tomorrow.
