Well for the second time in a week we found ourselves without airconditioning. which wouldnt have been so intolerable if we had more than one window to open upstairs. the others dont have good screens. and just the sliding glass door downstairs. come to find out it wasnt the a/c this time (well it was, but there was a deeper issue)…it was the fuse box. so after missing another day of work we have 1st an a/c guy, then an electrician out here. the fun never stops!!! after messing in the fuse box they leave to get parts. then it takes like 30 minutes once they had it narrowed down. Hopefully problem solved! the a/c guy did make the comment that the unit was an old one so who knows how long till we do this again?!?

after closing the door on all these people, who were in my house all day, i go to get in the shower…it has been 80 degrees or higher in my house since yesterday afternoon. so i just know I NEED to shower. the doorbell rings. i figure maybe someone left some equiptment or tools downstairs so i open the door. it is the a/c guy. he is holding two spiritual tracts in his hand. he was telling me all about how he goes to this “awesome church” and they really were very welcoming to other people and he wasnt sure what our beliefs were but he would love to talk to me further bout it. he invited me to go to “Hell Night” which they have instead of Halloween. Instead of Halloween?!? if you want to deprive yourself of the fun and fantasy of halloween…leave me out of it!!! I told him we go all out for halloween. decorations, costumes, parties, haunted houses. it’s the best night of the year! it’s like my xmas! I told him very nicely he should probably save his literature for someone who wont throw it in the trash as soon as the door is closed. not to be mean, but it was the truth! oh well, honesty is the best policy!
