Death Penalty Website…

So I was reading this article about how New Mexico has changed it’s mind about it’s death penalty…and at then end it said that Kansas was thinking about a similar plan, and that it had been sent to committee on Monday. So I wasn’t sure which states had the death penalty so I looked it up. what I found was this fun filled site that has an interactive map with the states and you click on the state and it tells you all you want to know about the death penalty (or lack thereof)…how many inmates…and the method. It is quite entertaining! Especially Oklahoma…can you say firing squad?…if it’s deemed constitutional. How do you get to be in on that discussion?!? Sign me up! I’m a pretty good shot…can you paint a red bullseye on the criminal? Give out points for who gets the closest to a bullseye. Instead of giving the convict the blindfold give the shooters blindfolds…make it fun. Then it would be like a test of skill…similar to playing darts in a crowded, smoky bar after having a few shots. Nothing says an execution has to be dull for those of us who will be surviving it. Liven things up a bit…after all we are taking scum off the streets.

Just my opinion anyway!!! Whatever that’s worth. I wonder if I should just send the senators and the Governor a link to this site, then they could see how I feel about them taking away the death penalty here in Kansas. I am against it…big time! Keep the death penalty and keep me happy (after all, after reading this do you really want me unhappy?)
