tired

i am tired today! so is chris. i wish he wasnt so tired. *wink wink* him being tired makes me tired…he doesnt help out much when he is tired. i try to get him to stay awake (HE made the comment that if he slept anymore today he wouldnt sleep tonight.), but he went and lied down on the bed anyway. knowing that whenever he goes to “stretch out” on the bed he’ll fall asleep.

he gets on the phone. probably work…he no loinger works eighty hour weeks, but he will talk to anyone from work whenever they call or text. I think if he were to actually keep track of all the phone calls, texts and emails he receives after or before he clocks in ( or while he is on his unpaid break), it would add a good couple of hours a week to his paycheck. But his attitude is “this will only take a minute!” and they five or ten minutes later the conversation is over and he goes on like it’s no big deal. then he’ll get a few texts (just quick questions about customer accts or whatever) and there is another 5-10 minutes of his non working life! they even wrote out a memo a couple of months ago saying we needed to fill out a time edit for work calls on personal time…but he disregrds this memo! even though I remind him constantly about it. he doesnt realize how much time he actually spends solviong work issues when he is off the clock. even his boss has the other agents call him instead of just solving the crisis himself…chris isnt even the one in charge (officially).

If Geek Squad and/or Best Buy knew that the senior was really running the show? would things be any different? not likely! they dont care as long as they make their numbers. Brandon has been gone more than he has been there and when he is gone and chris is in charge…they kick ass on the numbers. when brandon is there. *sound of bomb dropping* they tank. How do they expect a 20 yer old with no mgmnt to run a business? He cant write a decent schedule, the agents dont respect him, he gets problem customers and he tries to get chris to handle it because he doesnt want to deal with it (or he doesnt know how), and the employees think he is a douche bag (not that that makes him unqualified, but when you dont support someone you also dont help them out when they are struggling). He needs to go back to the sandbox and learn how to interact with people.
