why is it that in a season that is supposed to bring out the very best in people, seems to bring out their inner asshole? people are angry, selfish, hateful, greedy, dishonest, mean, reckless, and just generally bitchy and demanding. I hate Christmas for this and several other reasons. this year started out better than normal because no one had any money in this economy…but as we have gotten closer to C-day, they seem to have realized “Oh, Christmas is coming in the next week!”. so they come out with their shitty attitudes in droves. grab what they can as quick as they can…to hell with everyone else! we had xmas with Ami last night and it was so much fun! She ooh’d and aah’d over each gift and then when she thought we were done we pulled out the big gift…the nintendo DS guitar hero edition. in her stocking were two DS games and i played it off like i got them accidentally instead of game boy games. one of them being Hannah Montana the other one being a penguin game. she’s a big penguin fan!

When we gave Toni her present she cried! I knew she would! The necklace we got her is so beautiful! It was a lot of fun. But this damn ice is messing with our xmas plans.
